Mamey

I was happy with the tree and planted it immediately, however the leaves look like they have already been attacked by insects. Some of the leaves were half way eaten. Hope the insects did not travel with the tree in the box. So far it is stable.

Shipment arrived in perfect condition! Not one leaf fell off the tree.

For a long time, I’ve wanted one of these rare trees, and when Everglades Farm had it available I ordered it right away. It arrived in perfect condition, not a single leaf was broken or fallen off. Even the delivery people kept it vertical as it was supposed to be. The pot had bag around it so that none of the soil would come loose. they included directions on how to plant it, and it’s not yet two weeks after I received the tree so I haven’t planted it yet, but it’s already growing new leaves in the pot, and I’ve been watering it every day as per the instructions. I’m very satisfied with the quality of this grafted tropical mamey tree. We’d ordered from Everglades Farm before and I know I will be ordering again as I select tropical fruit trees for my new house.

Weak Tree

The Mamey Sapote tree I ordered was not a strong young tree and didn’t survive a week.
