Everglades Farm Shipping Policy

Order Processing
Orders typically take 2–3 business days to prepare before shipping. Once your order ships, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours after receiving that email for tracking information to become active in the carrier's system.

PO Box Shipping
We are unable to ship trees to PO Boxes. All orders require a physical street address for delivery. Please ensure a valid street address is provided at checkout.

Shipping Rates
Free shipping is available within Florida and select southern states on qualifying orders (minimum purchase may apply).
Discounted rates via UPS, FedEx, and USPS are available to most other U.S. destinations.

Transit Times
Transit time ranges from 1–7 days depending on your location, including weekends. Most orders in Florida enjoy a transit time of 2 business days.

Express Shipping
Customers in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories are required to select express shipping due to extended transit distances.

Ground Shipping Restrictions
We are unable to ship via ground to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana. The transit time from South Florida is too long for tropical trees to survive the journey in good condition. Express shipping may be available to some of these destinations — please contact us before placing your order.

Weather Policy
Shipments may be delayed during severe weather events. If you live outside South Florida, we strongly recommend ordering when average temperatures in your area are consistently above 50°F, day and night, to prevent cold damage during transit.

Please note: we are not responsible for cold weather damage to tropical trees. Our trees are grown in South Florida's tropical climate and are sensitive to cold. If temperatures in your area drop below 50°F at any point during the day or night, your trees may not survive. As a courtesy during winter months, we may hold your shipment and wait for safer conditions before sending your order.

Citrus Tree Restrictions
Per Florida Department of Agriculture regulations, we do not ship citrus trees outside the state of Florida. This includes: Lemons, Limes, Yuzu, Oranges, Mandarins, Kumquats, Clementines, Tangelos, and Limequats.

International Shipping
At this time, international shipping is not available. International orders typically require a phytosanitary certificate and are subject to agricultural import restrictions that vary by country. Please contact us if you have questions.

Nursery Pickup & Large Containers
Some items are available for nursery pickup only and cannot be shipped. This includes nursery pots and containers, and trees in 15-gallon and 25-gallon containers. We do not ship trees larger than a 7-gallon pot. If you're local to the Homestead area, we welcome you to visit the farm and select your tree in person.
