This is the second mango tree I have bought from this company. The first was a Kent mango I must have overwatered. This one I definitely did not overwater but it wasnt as vigorous nor did it have new growth like the other mango. On receipt, half of its leaves were already off. The tips were bare. It dropped all of its leaves on day 2. I was hopeful and continued to water it when dry. It is sheltered in a shady area with good temps. Slowly the green tips have died back. Have not checked the roots yet but I imagine this one is also a goner. It has been a month now of trying to recuperate it but it just never grew leaves again. I will probably try another mango variety one more time and immediately check the roots. For all I know, maybe they came with rotted roots? Hate to say it but it comes to mind.

Tree was magnificent on delivery but I messed up and overwatered it. I thought I was checking well enough to gauge water frequency but it was staying very wet at the root ball so it died… bought another type of mango but that one also looks like a goner (not sure if maybe the transition was too difficult for it). Anyway, it probably would have been great if not for my rookie mistake. It looked bushy and healthy when I got it and even had new growth. A pricey mistake.
