Actually I ordered 2 trees: one was the orange and the other a Ruby Red grapefruit. I know that Everglades Farm has no control of the actual shipping, but I believe that they should have some responsibility in giving the morons special shipping instructions. Like say, making sure that the boxes remain in an upright position! (The direction that the arrows are pointing!! Please remember, delivery drivers don't have much geometry education!!)
When the packages arrived, both boxes were lying flat on my carport floor. When I stood them up, one of them (the grapefruit tree) had all the soil spilled out of the pot. I planted it anyway, but it did not survive!!!
And when I ordered another one to replace it, the sale went through and the money was charged to my credit card. Then a week went by and NO sign of a delivery "in transit" so I called, and finally got a live person on the phone who told me that they couldn't delivery my order! Now I have one ordered from another nursery, and hopefully will stop getting annoying "discount" emails which never work on the the Everglades Farm shopping cart!!! NO MORE!!!
Buy from directly from Everglade farm where they don't charge shipping they ship by FedEx, you receive plant day after while E_bay & Amazon charges shipping & send merchandise by USPS you may get your plant in 5 to 7 days & plant also cost more.To me I buy plant directly from Everglade farm with full confidence.they are more reliable, honest & sincere.thank you.
