Raspberry 'Caroline' is a fall bearing (primocane) red raspberry that has an exceptional flavor. 'Caroline' ripens on average two weeks early than 'Heritage'. This raspberry has very good yields and is more tolerant to phytophthora root rot than Heritage. 'Caroline' performs best when given shade in the afternoon. It is a great performer for both the commercial fruit producer and home gardner.
