Black Sapote Bernicker Tree Grafted

Your trees are always good size and in good health. My favorite part it is always large tree that I received. Thank you so much.

The tree came healthy and flowering. It was potted decently. I did have to take off about 4in of mulch from the top of the pot and dig down to find the true crown roots. The roots were ok when I took it out of the pot to plant. It will be a lot happier now that I reshaped it and have it in the ground. Finally a note to anyone buying a tree from a nursery, never plant it at the level at the top of the pot. Find the true crown roots and plant it a little above that point

Tree received in great shape. No complaints.

The plant I received was vigorous and healthy, but when I transplanted, the roots only filled about 60% of the soil in the pot, which made me nervous that it would get root shock. I transplanted it less than a week ago, and it seems to be fine so far, wilting a little in the heat of the day, but no dropped leaves or other signs of significant stress.
