Tracking

At Everglades Farm, we understand the importance of providing our customers with a seamless and worry-free shopping experience, especially when it comes to tracking their packages. Here's all the valuable information you need to know about tracking your order and ensuring your peace of mind:

  1. Finding Your Tracking Number:
  • Once your order is ready to be shipped, we will automatically send you an email with your order details and the tracking number.
  • Please note that tracking information may not be available immediately as the tracking numbers are sometimes generated up to 24 hours before the actual shipment.
  • Click on the tracking number in the email to access real-time updates on the status of your package.
  • Alternatively, you can visit the carrier's website, such as FedEx (https://www.fedex.com/en-us/home.html), and enter the tracking number to get the latest information.
  1. Missing Tree with Delivered Tracking Status:
  • If your tracking confirmation indicates that your tree has been delivered, but you haven't received it, please contact the carrier (usually FedEx) at 800-463-3339 immediately to verify the delivery.
  • As per our terms of service, we are not responsible for stolen trees. However, you have the option to file an insurance claim with the carrier in case of any issues with delivery.
  • To file a claim with FedEx for a lost or stolen tree, visit the link: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-support/claims.html
  1. Shipping and Transit Time:
  • You will receive an automatic shipping confirmation email once your tree has been shipped, which also contains the tracking number.

  • Typically, tracking information becomes available within 48 hours after receiving the shipping confirmation email.

  • It takes about 2-3 business days to prepare your tree for shipping.

  • The transit time, which includes weekends, depends on your location and ranges from 1 to 7 days. For UPS Ground, you can find the average estimated transit time below:

    • Local (1 Day)
    • 1-2 States Away (2 Days)
    • 3-4 States Away (3 Days)
    • 5-6 States Away (4 Days)
    • Across the Country (5-7 Days)
  1. FedEx Exception Codes:
  • Occasionally, package deliveries may be temporarily delayed, usually due to extreme weather events. If you see a status exception code, it means that the package is temporarily delayed while in transit.
  • An exception does not necessarily denote a late shipment, and FedEx is dedicated to delivering packages as soon as possible.
  • If more than two weeks have passed, and the tracking details still show the exception message, contact us via email at service@everglades.farm for a resolution. In most cases, we will reship the tree and file an insurance claim with FedEx.
  1. Longevity of Trees in the Box:
  • In some instances, we have seen trees survive in the box for up to two weeks. To preserve and extend moisture inside the container, we may apply a wetting agent to the soil.
