Coconut and Palm trees fertilization should begin at the time of planting them. This will ensure better and faster growth in the early stages of life. 

Use of FERSOL NPK 8-3-16+Cl fertilizer, that combines Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, in addition to Salt and Micronutrients, as recommended: 

Coconut and Palms Growing in Containers: Spread 4 Tablespoons (3oz) around the topsoil, every 2 months. 

First year of planting: Repeat 3 times during the first year adding 1lb of FERSOL NPK 8-3-16 to the growing plant. 

Second year: fertilize with about 2 lbs every 2 months, per grown plant. 

Third year: Fertilize about 3lbs every 3 months. 

Fourth year: Fertilize with about 4-5 lbs every 3 months depending on size. Mature Coconut and Palms trees: Mature Trees Require 6lb of fertilizer per tree, 3 times per year.
