Distinctive and Rare Variety

The Red Wax Jambu is a true tropical gem, known for its eye-catching pear-shaped fruit with glossy, waxy skin and a distinctive puckered bottom. Inside, you’ll find a delightfully puffy inner mesh surrounding a single seed, offering a taste that’s both crisp and refreshing with a subtle hint of sweetness.

Cultivated in Subtropical Paradise

Grown in the lush, warm climate of our Homestead, Florida nursery, the Red Wax Jambu Tree thrives in the subtropical weather that provides it with the nourishment needed for vibrant growth and fruit production. This tree is well-suited to Florida’s climate, ensuring robust health and rapid development.

Ready to Flourish in Your Garden

Each tree stands at an impressive height of approximately 2 feet or taller (including the container) and is carefully propagated by cuttings to ensure the highest quality. It is housed in a 3-gallon plastic container filled with soil enriched with premium slow-release granular 8-3-9 fertilizer, giving your tree the perfect start for thriving in its new home.

Fast-Growing and Low-Maintenance

With an average age of 12-18 months, your Red Wax Jambu Tree is eager to grow and fill your garden with its splendor. This fast-growing beauty requires minimal care and adapts easily to sunny locations with well-draining soil, making it an ideal choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.

Exotic Taste and Aromatic Delight

Savor the unique taste of the Red Wax Jambu’s fruit, which is as delightful to eat as it is to look at. The fruit’s mild sweetness, crisp texture, and aromatic fragrance make it a refreshing treat that’s perfect for snacking or adding a tropical twist to your culinary creations.

RED WAX JAMBU, WILTED

When unboxing tree, it arrived wilted, even though it came in soil, in a pot. I am not sure it will survive, and am waiting to see. Other plants I've received from this company have done well. I may have just gotten unlucky in this one. After 4 days, it is still wilted and losing its leaves. Very sad over this.

Good Condition Red Wax Jambu

Arrived in good condition. Well packed for shipping. A few leaves have started to fall off, probably due to the stress caused by shipping. Hopefully, the leaves will stop falling off and the plant will survive this time.

Plant seemed to like a lot of sun and heat. We will be transferring to the ground soon or until it stopped raining
