My 1st mango tree ever is from Everglades Farm. I ordered Pickering and Carrie grafted mangoes. Both the trees came in great condition. Pickering has good branching on it. Carrie had some damage on the main stem. Not sure what is that from. I also saw a vertical scar/cut on carrie and sap was coming out from it. I am assuming it might be caused by heavy winds. It looks better now with no sap dropping. I am anyways going to prune it under the scar.
Overall great experience and very nice quality trees.
The trees came from FL to NH within 3 business days in excellent condition.
I totally recommend Everglades Farm.
After having shopped around looking specifically for a Pickering mango, I had all but given up trying to find a nice grafted tree. I searched on Everglades Farm's website and found it! Having recently purchased a tree from them I didn't doubt the quality of the tree. Just as I expected, the tree arrived well packaged, beautifully mature & well grafted graft, and a very healthy tree. The UPS driver asked if these trees are of good quality. Yes!!! I shared when he happen to stop by with another package. I would totally recommend this company and their trees.
Purchased the Pickering Mango from Everglades Farm in December 2021. Tree arrived in good condition, but I repotted and changed the soil out based on some bad experiences with previous Mango trees I ordered from EF. Pickerings are known to be slow growers (dwarf) and precocious producers. This one lived up to its reputation. It bloomed out prodigiously in year one and I removed all the panicles. In year two, it once again bloomed like fireworks but I let it hold 3/4 of about two dozen of its fruit. Over the next few weeks, it self-thinned until only six remained. These six matured and ripened into wonderfully sweet mangoes. Six mangoes in two years while in seven gallon containers! Will up pot this season into a 10 gallon. The best performer out of all the fruit trees I've purchased from EF.
Best looking tree I’ve ordered from them. This particular tree had the option to get a slightly larger tree vs a younger plant, and it was worth the extra $15-20. Very pleased with the condition of these plants when they arrive considering they come from FL->CA
