Arrived a little wounded but can’t wait to see and taste the bananas will be ordering another plant soon
Thank you
Both jaboticaba and acerola arrived in good shape! The jaboticaba though was a bit too saturated with water, though, and the tips of some of the leaves were dark and dying. But nothing to worry about
At Everglades farms thay have good quality plants and good service. I do recomended them.
Had ordered one of these this time last year and it was a small tree about 2 ft tall. It thrived and grew to 6 ft tall in a container and the tree developed a gorgeous canopy with the trunk caliper was thickening nicely. Over the middle of summer, we had a bizarre week long heat wave in SoCal with temps reaching 115 degrees. With nowhere to provide cover for my precious tree, the heat scorched and completely burnt up my tree to a literal crisp. Even with sufficient watering, the roots dried up and died. Regrettably, I had to discard my dead tree and had placed myself on email notification because these Pancho/Poncho trees were sold out. A few weeks later, I received an email stating that it was in stock so I immediately bought it since there was only 1 in stock! I placed my order and about 10 days later, my order arrived! This tree is closer to 3 ft tall and has a fuller canopy than my first one, however, some of the leafs were turning yellowish brown. Despite the dying leafs dropping or being removed, there is still a substantial amount of healthy green leafs. I haven't up-potted yet as I want the tree to still adapt to SoCal climate but will be transferring it in the coming days. All this to say, this tree is beautiful and looks very strong. Hopefully it will grow and thrive to produce yummy fruit in the next few years. Thank you Everglades Farm for hooking me up with such a wonderful sample of Pancho/Poncho Avocado Tree! Buy with confidence!
