Watering it 2X per day probably didn't hurt anything either, but still...
All the trees arrived distressed and slowly died
Had a few black spots on some of the ends of leaves. The storm delayed a couple days. Plant is doing good and healthy now
My Dwarf Hawaiin Mango Tree was delivered damage, with 80% of the leaves having fallen off or broken. Also, the branches from the leaves that had broken or fallen off have had black tips and continue to die back. When I contacted customer service, they tried to make me jump through hoops to file a warranty instead of replacing it.
Disappointed. Based on the condition of the plant and pot that I received it was clear that the plant was very recently up-potted to a 3 gallon pot and one branch of a two branch plant suffered from transplant shock because all the new leaves were wilted and fell off within a day of receiving the plant.
Contacted the vender for instructions on how to save the branch and the plant. Received instructions on how to irrigate mango trees!! Nothing about how to save this plant. Also the bud union on this plant is split and water logged. Treating it with Ivory organics to keep bugs and water out so that the plant can heal overtime. I have made previous purchases from this vendor and the plant is growing beautifully. So this maybe a one time blip and I would buy from them again.
