Have received excellent quality plants from them every time. Shipping is quick and the plants are packaged well. I recommend Everglades Farms to my friends.

Pathology is evident

I received the Kokopo plant in decent looking condition. It was handled and packaged with great care. However, I believe the plant has some sort of disease where the pattern of pathology is leaf spots and reddening of the petiole near the pseudostem. This appears to eventually lead to necrosis of the petiole and otherwise decent looking leaves falling off. The new growth does look much healthier, but it has been losing leaves faster than they are growing. My guess is that the plant will survive and if it does, I'd move this review to 3/5 stars.

did 2 day fed ex to shorten exposure to winter weather in transit

we are in Portland Oregon and worried about long transit in the cold. Two day FedEx was great. Plants in the one gallon (slightly squished) container came through without any damage. One of the leaves was kinked but that was about it.
The root ball had fully filled out the 1 gal can. Some places will up pot them into a larger pot to upcharge you but this place is honest and the the plant is maxed out in the pot that it came in. We've already up potted the banana plants into a 15 gal can.
