This tree thrives in subtropical and tropical climates (Zones 9-11) and can tolerate mild frosts better than some other varieties. Arrived in pretty good shape, noted the red leaf buds (typical for Beaumont). Unpackaged immediately and set under our massive pom tree with all the other delicates. Very timely, got the benefit of flood irrigation the same day it arrived. All the plants love that. Giving it a rest before repotting.
Got two macadamia trees. Had help from customer service and flushed them with water immediately and trimmed all the brown leaves and ones with holes. Put them in the shade with indirect sunlight and two weeks later they are looking strong and grown more bright green leaves. Will be planting them soon
